It had been 5 years since Karin was captured and brought to the villiage known as Konohagakure. At first, people would look at her with mistrust and suspicion, but over time, mostly thanks to her cousin Naruto, Karin began to develop a bond with this village and it's inhabitants. For the first time in her life, Karin felt like a person, rather than a possession to be used. She began to make friends with some the people there, and even caught the attention of some of the villiages boys. It became so different than anything the 21 year old had felt in her life, this place that was originaly meant to be her prison, had instead become her home.


I came up with this after watching the episode of Naruto where Karin is being interrogated by Ibiki Morino, and she notices how warm the people of Konoha are, which made me think that she might consider Konoha to be a nice place to live.
